HOME STAGING
Home staging is essentially preparing your property to look its very best before selling. You will get more interest in the property by creating an attractive environment where atmosphere is hugely considered. The goal of home staging is to make the home more appealing and to get the highest number of potential buyers as well as achieving a higher asking price for your property.

Jen and Stéphane have been the most incredible interior designers I have worked with. They came up with a beautiful and stylish design for both our kitchen and living room. What has been the biggest highlight, is the incredible after-care support they have given us.

Jenny and Stephane are fascinating to watch at work. They are artists within their craft and every chosen piece used, is thought about so in depth that it changes a room in a way I have never seen before.
‘What I ended up with was far more than I could have dreamt of, a beautiful shop and a brand identity’
'House of Bo practical skills as well as their vision are something else! They came up with ideas that we absolutely loved, and she just seemed to know what would work with our tastes, and within our home’
Jenny and Stephane are incredibly creative and highly detailed in their work. They bring an element of fun to each project without compromising the integrity of the design, and they cater to the clients brief while also bringing in fresh ideas that challenge the boundaries of what you thought would be possible.
‘BO’s energy and enthusiasm is infectious and made the whole design project both fun and effortless in equal measure’

Design has always been part of how I see the world. Fashion, interiors, architecture, art — I notice it all. I am fascinated by what makes something beautiful, but even more by what gives it character and makes you feel something.
My creative background began in Fashion Design and Art before leading me into interiors, but that early influence has never really left. I still think in terms of colour, proportion, texture, form and composition — only now I am creating the setting around people’s lives.
My own design perspective is influenced by my Swedish heritage and growing up on the west coast of Sweden in Lysekil, but it has evolved through travel, experience and a constant curiosity about art, architecture, people and how they live.
For me, interiors are the backdrop to life.
We spend so much of our lives inside buildings, and I genuinely believe a well-designed space can change how you live. It can bring people together, make you slow down, encourage you to entertain, give you somewhere to retreat or simply make everyday life work better.
That is why I never want to begin with a look. I want to understand the people first.
How do you live? What matters to you? What do you want to do more of? How should it feel to walk through the door?
From there, the story begins.
Colour, lighting, texture, art, furniture, treasured objects and unexpected pieces all become part of creating an interior that has personality, atmosphere and soul. It should feel considered without feeling overly designed. Beautiful, but made for living.
Interior design, to me, is storytelling — with a lifestyle attached to it.
I founded HOUSE OF BO because I wanted to create something strong in its design, ideas, work ethic and vision. A studio that is curious, creative and collaborative; that problem-solves, pushes ideas and is never interested in simply creating the expected.
And HOUSE OF BO is very much a team.
Depending on the project, we bring together the people and specialist skills it needs. We draw on our combined experience, creativity and different perspectives to develop ideas, solve problems and take a design further than any one of us could alone.
There is a real energy in that collaboration. We brainstorm, challenge each other and bring different strengths to the table, while always working towards one clear vision for the project.
We question things. We problem-solve. We push ideas. And we are not afraid to suggest something our clients may never have considered.
Every project calls for something different, and I bring together the right HOUSE OF BO team and specialist skills around each one. But the ambition is always the same:
To create spaces with identity — spaces that tell your story and make the life happening within them even better.

Originally from France, I have lived in the UK since the late 1980s, building my career within the ever-changing world of retail, specialising in Retail Design and Visual Merchandising.
For me, great design is about much more than how something looks. It is about how people experience a space — how they move through it, what draws their attention, what makes them stop, engage and ultimately remember it.
Much of my career has been focused on creating that experience through what I like to call “retail theatre” — combining creativity with strong commercial thinking to create spaces that work as brilliantly as they look.
As a Retail VM & Design Consultant, I have worked with renowned high street brands, international labels and independent retailers, bringing together design, visual merchandising, customer experience and practical problem-solving.
My work has also taken me around the world, contributing to projects in Shanghai, Dubai, Paris and across the UK for M&S, as well as working closely with Harley-Davidson to develop its Global Visual Merchandising Programme throughout Europe.
That experience brings another dimension to HOUSE OF BO. I look at how a space functions, how people interact with it and how strong design can influence behaviour and create a memorable experience — particularly within our commercial projects.
Creatively, I draw inspiration from everywhere and often from the unexpected. Nature is a constant influence, alongside architecture, art, interiors and music. I am particularly drawn to beautifully crafted things and the character found in perfect imperfection.
At HOUSE OF BO, Jenny and I bring different perspectives and strengths to the table, and that is very much part of what makes the studio what it is. We challenge ideas, problem-solve and push each other creatively, bringing together storytelling, functionality, commercial thinking and a shared belief that a space should have real identity.
Because whether it is a home, a shop, a restaurant or another commercial space, good design should not simply be seen — it should change the way you experience being there.
